DCA Secretary Pelham 
With more than 1,000 participants taking part in this live on-line program, Secretary Pelham focused primarily on the provisions of Senate Bill 360. The bill, signed into law by Governor Crist on June 1, relates to transportation concurrency and how these provisions affect local governments statewide.
The Secretary presented information about the new law, including DCA's interpretation and implementation plans, and took questions from statewide participants.

Special Districts Basics

Led by Jack Gaskins, DCA's Special District Information Program Administrator, this Webinar addressed a wide range of subjects under the theme of special districts in Florida.
Topics included state policies, the Special District Information Program, basic reporting requirements, non-compliance with these requirements and technical assistance. The program also included a Q&A with participants statewide.
