The Department welcomes connecting with others
Alternative Videoconference Sites & Solutions
Agencies and other organizations that do not have their own videoconference systems (or that have an overflow of participants) can take part in a DCA videoconference from an alternative site.

Public agencies and educational institutions will sometimes allow the use of their facilities by other agencies. Some will limit such uses to meetings or events that also involve their agencies or offices while others are open to other uses.
Fee-based commercial sites are also
available statewide. On-line services can help locate a convenient site. Brokerage services provide added support depending on client needs. Room rentals are priced per hour and the costs typically range between $100-$250/hr.
Signal House Communications is a Tallahassee-based full-service broker. They research and contact facilities to find those that meet the organization's criteria – e.g., number of participants and room size, distance from a particular location, features (number of cameras, HD quality, IP and ISDN capable, recording equipment available, etc.).

Some videoconferencing vendors across the state also rent VC systems, where they furnish and set-up the systems for a meeting or event. Check the Yellow Pages to see if such services are available. Look under “videoconference”, “video conference”, “video recording”, “audio-visual” categories.
